Feline corneal sequestration or FCS is a disease that is unique for cats. It can affect just any breed of cats but is particularly common in some breeds such as Abbysinians, Burmese, Colorpoints, Himalayans and Persians. This can be detected only by doctors and do not have many visible symptoms. Allergies and skin problems in cats are serious and must be treated immediately. Behavioral change is the major symptom for this disease. There are many infectious causes of stomatitis. They include feline leukemia virus and feline immunodeficiency virus.
Dental cleaning and polishing by vets may keep all these diseases at bay. Keep proper care of your pet cat and it will be free from many deadly diseases.
